Fall is here!

I. LOVE. FALL.  It is that simple.  I love the colors, the smells, the textures, the sounds – I love it all!  I find that while summer is fabulous, flirty and fun; fall feels fresh and new and crisp. As I look around my house I am constantly finding ways to freshen up my fall look.  This season while I will still use my deep reds, amber, oxblood and oranges I will also throw in splashes of shimmer and gold and greens.  I think one of my new favorite things to use in centerpieces this fall season is fresh produce.  Using fresh produce like tomatoes, eggplants, pears, etc is not only fun and unique but those centerpieces convey the feeling of freshness and life and vitality and the beauty of nature.

I found this gorgeous image on Martha Stewart today and instantly fell in love with the color and the simplicity of the glass vase.  I would love to take this look one step further and get a deep large glass vessel, add artificial pears in varying colors with an added sparkle of gold shimmer in the bottom of the vase as the filler and add these gorgeous flowers to it.  It could make an absolutely gorgeous centerpiece for any fall table scape!

Below is another creative way to incorporate the colors of fall; by using tomatoes as centerpieces.  Use a variety of tomatoes, with different colors and sizes and nestle them in basic white bowls or clear glass bowls or wicker baskets or in produce baskets (you may be able to get them at a great price from your local farmers market). These tasty centerpieces are vibrant, fresh and delicious!

Here’s another great use of fresh produce to create a beautiful table scape….and because it uses artichokes I’m instantly in love with it!

Here is the last image I fell in love with today.  These gorgeous Gerbera daisies make gorgeous poms!

This fall be creative and eclectic whenever you can.  While everyone else is using leaves, gourds, pumpkins and apples in their centerpieces….be different and find unique ways to incorporate the gorgeous colors of fall to create unforgettable table decor.
Happy planning!

1st post on the New blog!

It’s been a while since I have blogged….staying home with 3 kids all summer meant that not a lot of work was done.  It was a super busy summer and I am sad to see it end but happy that fall is here.  Fall is my FAVORITE time of year.  I LOVE the colors, the smells, the sounds, the textures the feeling of crispness and new beginnings.

Fall also means my two oldest children are in school all day and my youngest will be in preschool 4 hours a week….FOUR hours….FOUR hours of time to get work done, attend meetings and push ahead full force with new marketing and branding initiative for events YOUR way.  It is going to be an exciting but busy year!

I am going to be re-vamping my website a bit and changing my service offerings to be more reflective of my current interests, needs and time constraints and the direction I ultimately want events YOUR way to take.  I will be limiting the number of weddings I will be involved with this year so that I am better able to develop my brand and put more effort into events YOUR way sponsored events.  I will be hosting another “Relax and Un-WINE” event at some point, I will be involved with a number of non-profit events throughout the year, I have been asked back to help with a major charity event in the spring and I will be booking a number of in-home wine tastings and trunk shows.  My year is very quickly filling up, which is very exciting!

Please be sure to check back to the website often to see what exciting changes will be taking place!

Thanks for reading and happy planning!
