Relax and un-WINE

I am really looking forward to Relax and un-WINE on 12/7 at Lamberti’s Cucina (1300 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808)!  I have been working diligently to make this an all-around great event for the guests, vendors and profitable for Preston’s March for Energy.  There are a number of raffle items for guests to win; prizes include a $25 gift card to Berri Yummi, a gorgeous necklace from ICB Designs, a home spa gift basket, a ready-to-drink 10 year old Chianti, a basket of wine and more!  Ticket price will range from $1 to $5 depending on the prize.  100% of the money from the raffle tickets will go directly to Preston’s March for Energy.

I am very honored that Deb Buenaga, the Executive Director of Preston’s March for Energy will be in attendance.  I look forward to talking with her and hearing about the amazing things their organization does for children with disabilities.

I am especially excited to see my vendors’ beautiful displays!  I have some amazing vendors like:

events YOUR way presents “Relax and un-WINE”

I am so excited that the 2nd installment of “Relax and un-WINE” planning is coming together!  “RuN”, as I like to refer to it, is a fun night out that features food, wine, prizes, chair massages by the amazing Rebecca Enrico of WellnessNMotion and SHOPPING!  This installment of “RuN” will be on 12/7 at Lamberti’s Cucina (1300 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808) from 7-10pm and will not only feature fun stuff for the ladies but it will also feature a MAN CAVE!!!!  You heard me…a MAN CAVE!!!!  I have reserved the back room of the restaurant for the men folk to gather, watch sports on the big screen and play some games (for charity…and for bragging rights of course!).

The non-profit organization that will be receiving a percentage of the profit from the event is Preston’s March for Energy.  If you are not familiar with Preston’s March for Energy please take a moment to check them out.  They are a fantastic local charity that raises funds to provide adaptive bikes for children with special needs.

For the 2nd installment of “RuN” I am working with two amazing event sponsors Lulu and ZZHouse Design Studio.

The always-fabulous Jill and owner of Lulu (located in the Booth’s Corner Farmer’s Market) will not only have some fabulous items for sale but will also be doing a how-to demonstration on scarf tying.  I myself can only tie a scarf about 3 different ways so I am excited to learn some scarf tying tricks!

ZZHouse Design Studio is local creative studio that provides solutions for any given objective. Whether that’s creating an awareness campaign for a pharmaceutical company, designing gourmet pasta packaging or developing a logo and identity package for a small start up.  I have worked with ZZHouse Design Studio for a number of projects.  They are extremely knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with.  I am so happy to be working with them on this event.

“Relax and un-WINE” will feature a number of fabulous vendors like:

31 Gifts by Laurie Seidle, The Mistress of Spice, My Pepper Plum, Mary Kay by Mary Jamieson, REMWell Communications (Bath and Body bar), Vertallee Letterpress, Advanced Skin Care and Medspa and more!

Tickets are just $25 and cover your cost of admission, wine sampling, food and automatic entry to win one of many prizes.  A prize will also be awarded to the person who brings the most friends so bring as many friends as you can!

You can purchase your tickets through the following link .  If you wait to pay at the door the price increases to $30 and will not include automatic entry into the raffle drawing.

I will continue to post more details as the event unfolds.  If you have any questions about this event please email

Quick update…more to come!

I am working on a few things but want to share what a wonderful time I had at the 2012 Vendemmia Da Vinci this past Sunday in Wilmington, Delaware.  The events YOUR way senior wine consultant (AKA my husband and “professor” of all things wine and spirit related) was chosen as a judge to taste nearly 45 hand-crafted wines at this year’s festival.  A winner was selected in the white, red and dessert wine categories.  Each entrant takes wine making very seriously and therefore the judging process is meticulous and lengthy.  My husband takes his job and the art and science of wine making very seriously so it was fun to witness the judging process and the amount of thought that goes into it.
Here’s a quick pic of “The Professor” tasting some wine!

I will have more pictures posted soon and some fun and exciting updates as well!
